Oct.10-12, Associate Prof. Baodong Xu from MARI attended 2019 Smart Agriculture Technological Innovation Seminar and Demonstration Exhibition held in Chengdu, Sichuan. The theme of the seminar is "Science and Technology Invigorates Agriculture, Big Date Creates Energy".

In the felid session, the smart agriculture innovation team from CAAS demonstrated the agriculture cloud operating system and ten technologies including agricultural information spatiotemporal database system, cloud edge integration agricultural smart operation equipment. In the indoor session, the academicians and scholars jointly delivered nearly 30 reports, including Farmland Big Data and Remote Sensing Precise Monitoring by Academician Zhou Chenghu and Current Situation and Prospect of Smart Agriculture by Academician Zhao Chunjiang, which provided a great academic exchange opportunity for the development of smart agriculture in China.
