On December 17, Dr. Zhigang Chen, the director of IFPRI's office in East Asia, Southeast Asia and Central Asia, visited MARI. Prof. Hang Xiong, Associate Prof. Baodong Xu, Associate Prof. Zeyu Zhang, Lecturer Ling Jin and Dr. Ling Lin, together with some postgraduates, participated in the reception.

At first, Prof. Hang Xiong gave a warm welcome to Dr. Zhigang Chen. Then, Prof. Hang Xiong introduced MARI’s office environment, cultural sites, team building, development orientation and research fields to Dr. Zhigang Chen. Dr. Zhigang Chen spoke highly of MARI’s work, and then, the both sides had an active discussion on the application for academic cooperation.
