On the afternoon of April 25, Associate Professor Hua Chunlin from the College of Economics and Management of Southwest University of Science and Technology gave a lecture entitled "Research on Agricultural Surface Source Pollution Reduction Behavior of Agricultural Operators - Based on the Perspective of the Linkage between Private Benefits and Pollution Value" at the Macro Agricultural Research Institute of Huazhong Agricultural University. The presentation was chaired by Associate Professor Hao Jinghui from the College of Economics and Management.
The results are based on GIS observation data, statistical yearbooks and field survey data, and on the basis of the analysis of interest linkage preferences of different agricultural operators and pollution value measurement, linking farmers' interests to pollution control value, and improving farmers' motivation to control pollution, motivating them to change their production behaviour, reducing the amount of pollution inputs, and breaking through the challenges of agricultural surface source pollution control. This study examines the problems of pollution control. The impact of the linkage between agricultural operators and the value of benefits and pollution on agricultural surface source pollution emissions is explored, and policy recommendations for agricultural surface source pollution management are put forward.
After the presentation, Associate Professor Hua Chunlin had a deeper understanding of agricultural surface source pollution and took a group photo with the participating students and teachers.
