On the afternoon of November 1, Yu-Ting Wang, a master's student from the School of Economics and Management at Huazhong Agricultural University, presented her research titled “New Quality Productivity Drives Green Agricultural Development - Based on the Perspective of Green Total Factor Productivity in Agriculture” at the seminar.

Yu-Ting Wang began by introducing the research background of new quality productivity and green development of agriculture. She then summarized the existing literature to construct an evaluation index system for new quality productivity. In the empirical analysis section, she utilized a spatial econometric model to analyze the spillover effects of new quality productivity. Additionally, she categorized the thirty provinces into four regions based on their levels of economic development and discussed regional heterogeneity at the end of her study.

During the discussion and interaction session, participants engaged in a lively debate on the theoretical connotations of new quality productivity, the measurement methods for green total factor productivity in agriculture, the selection of spatial econometric models, and regional heterogeneity. Addressing the deficiencies and areas for improvement in her study, Yu-Ting Wang outlined her plans for future work.
