游良志研究员是位于美国华盛顿特区的农业科研国际机构—国际食物政策研究所高级研究员、“空间数据和分析”研究团队的负责人, 兼任华中农业大学教授和宏观农业研究院院长,曾任国家外专局高端外国专家(2015)。游良志教授长期从事全球变化与农业影响领域的基础和应用研究,尤其利用深厚的工程学与经济学的理论功底,将工程科学和农业经济的方法和工具交叉应用到全球变化与农业领域研究,在全球变化农业影响的事实、机理机制和适应等方面取得了世界领先的研究成果,对全球很多国家,尤其是非洲国家如埃塞俄比亚、 乌干达、肯尼亚、 马拉维、尼日利亚、加纳等农业发展战略和研发政策制定产生了积极的国际影响。先后主持或共同主持了中国国家自然科学基金、美国国家自然科学基金、美国航空航天署、美国国际援助署、英国国际发展部、澳大利亚国际农业研究中心、欧盟、世界银行等资助项目30余项,总经费超过人民币2亿元。在Science Advances、Nature Communications、 Proceedings of National Academy of Sciences (PNAS)、Global Change Biology等国际期刊发表论文120余篇,出版专著7部。
