On June 10, the inaugural China Computer Federation (CCF) International Academic Forum on Agricultural Knowledge Intelligence was held at Huazhong Agricultural University. The forum focused on six key themes, including “Agricultural spatial and temporal intelligence empowering smart agriculture,” and explored the development of agricultural knowledge intelligence engineering technology. Twelve domestic and international experts and scholars, including Prof. Liu Jingnan, academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, Prof. He Keqing of Wuhan University, Prof. Deng Shuguang of Zhejiang University, Associate Prof. Michael Bewong of Charles Sturt University in Australia, and researcher Pierre Larmande of the French Institute for Development Research, delivered keynote speeches, and nearly 150 people attended the forum.
Under the theme of “Agricultural Knowledge Intelligent Service,” Associate Professor Feng Zaiwen of the Macro Agricultural Research Institute introduced several original achievements, such as using ontology technology to achieve the integration and deep mining of agricultural databases, developing intelligent knowledge services using AI technology to support important applications like precision fertilization and feeding, and building a knowledge graph-enhanced agricultural GPT to empower biological breeding.
