On the afternoon of March 24th, Associate Professor Zhu Tingju from the Joint College of Zhejiang University, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and Professor Liu Wenfeng from the Department of Water Resources Engineering of China Agricultural University were invited to the Macro-Agricultural Research Institute (MARI) of Huazhong Agricultural University. Associate Professor Zhu Tingju made an academic report titled “Application of Hydro-Economic Modeling in Sustainable Agricultural Water Resources Management”. Professor Liu Wenfeng made an academic report titled “Evaluation of Agricultural Water Resources Scarcity and Impacts of Extreme Climate”. The report was chaired by Prof. You Liangzhi, Director of the Macro Agricultural Research Institute of the university. Teachers and graduate students of the Macro-Agricultural Research Institute participated in the seminar.

At the end of the seminar, Associate Professor Zhu Tingju and Professor Liu Wenfeng provided detailed answers to the questions raised by the participating teachers and students.
